Mission

The mission of the Quioccasin Middle School counseling program aligns with the school's mission which is to create a safe and inclusive learning environment where the focus is: Every Griffin, Every Day.  We strive to ensure that every Griffin, every day is finding a way to feel connected; every Griffin, every day is being challenged by new learning and experiences; and every Griffin, every day knows that they have a Champion they can turn to.  School counselors provide a comprehensive, developmental school counseling program that addresses the academic, career, and personal/social needs of all students. Together with students, staff, parents and community members, school counselors facilitate a positive, supportive and culturally sensitive program that ensures our school community has options and opportunities that meet the diverse needs and interests of our students.
