CodeRVA is an innovative, regional, public high school in central Virginia focused on preparing students for college and careers in computer science and coding.
- Blended Learning - CodeRVA provides instruction in a blended learning model that combines online and face-to-face instruction and meets the needs of today’s technology-focused students.
- Personalized Learning - CodeRVA offers personalized learning to ensure that each student masters the content, achieves academic and career goals while building independence.
- Integrated And Project - Based Learning - CodeRVA’s innovative curriculum integrates academic content studies and incorporates authentic project-based learning. CodeRVA strives to prepare all students for college and careers.
For the 2025-2026 school year, any rising 9th grader that has an interest and passion for computer science from a participating school division may apply for CodeRVA .
The online application will open on January 6th and will close on February 14th. Current 8th graders may apply.

- January 6th - Lottery application opens online through SchoolMint (https://coderva.schoolmint.com)
- February 14th - Online application closes
- March 11th - selected students are notified via email to parent/guardian
