Acceleration Courses - Summer Options
Who: Rising 9-12th grade students (For rising 9th-12th graders, who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and have completed at least the level of Algebra I.)
Summer Session June 26 – July 29, 2023
*This dual-enrollment course is completely online and students may work ahead, however must complete all assignments by posted deadlines.

- Textbook - “Personal Finance: Turning Money into Wealth” 7th edition, Arthur Keown, 6th edition (Print or eBook)
- Financial calculator (TI - BAII Plus recommended)
After you sign-up, our school’s Registrar Ann Maramba will register your student for Virtual Virginia.
Who: Self-motivated and task-driven students in rising 8th-9th grades who are driven to spend 4-6 hours per day working online may register to take one of the following courses for acceleration:
- Spanish I
- French I
Who: Self-motivated and task-driven students in rising 9-12th grades who have met prerequisites and are driven to spend 4-6 hours per day working online may register to take one of the following courses for acceleration:
- Spanish I, II or III
- French I, II, or III
- Latin I, II or III
- Algebra I
- Geometry
- Earth Science
- World History and Geography I
- Economics & Personal Finance (EPF)
- Health/PE 9 - (this is not an NCAA approved course)
